Do you need more information

Anaerobic and coryneform bacteria can cause a number of severe clinical infections, particularly in immunocompromised patients. Some of these organisms are becoming increasingly resistant to antimicrobial drugs and some can be involved in Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) , so appropriate decisions for treatment must be based on reliable, accurate ID testing. VITEK®2 ID cards are convenient and safe self-contained, disposable cards designed for use with the VITEK®2  family of instruments. The VITEK®2 ANC ID card is an effective means of rapidly and accurately identifying a broad range of anaerobic and coryneform bacteria.
