At bioMérieux, we take pride in the quality of our instrumentation. And we are committed to ensuring you have the same confidence that we have in bioMérieux instruments. That’s why all new bioMérieux instrumentation is protected by a limited warranty covering defects in material and workmanship.
Your warranty is valid for one year from the date of installation when used under normal operating conditions and in accordance with recommended maintenance. To ensure the continuity of your warranty, have all of your service needs performed by bioMérieux certified engineers. This should start with preventive maintenance at the intervals prescribed for your instrumentation.

VILINK® is safe, secure software that helps keep your bioMérieux instruments up and running via remote monitoring, updates, maintenance, and issue diagnosis and resolution. Through VILINK®, our service experts can directly access your instruments – when needed and with your permission – for faster responses to issues and for proactive measures that effectively fix issues before they emerge.
Remote Video Services
bioMérieux Instrument Services is committed to offering service that’s as innovative as our instruments! Our Remote Video Service uses Augmented Reality technology to effectively put a bioMérieux expert “by your side” virtually for the most rapid troubleshooting assistance should any issue arise with your instrumentation.
Augmented Reality merges two real-time environment through connected devices (such as tablets or phones) using a secure VILINK® connection. Each participant can use their hands to visibly gesture, display real objects, illustrate ideas, and demonstrate the proper ways in which to fix an issue. Our technician can “see what you see” to really understand your problem. They can then guide you through troubleshooting – even superimposing information on your screen, such as schematics and instructions. You’ll rapidly see what you need to know and what you need to do – and be up and running in no time!
And… should a bioMérieux engineer still need to come onsite, the intervention is typically faster because they come armed with a deeper understanding of the issue at hand!
